Carping4Heroes 2012

Carping4Heroes is an event that uses carp fishing to to raise money for Help for Heroes, this year were proud to be in association with Nash Tackle, Carp-Talk, Atomic Tackle, Angling Publications and Yorkshire Tackle Exchange.
Carping4Heroes 2012 will take place over the weekend of the 25th-27th May and will feature a fun packed weekend that will see the carp fishing community come together and raise money in support of our heroes.
This years event will see two 12 man teams, one representing the British Army and the other made of civilians battle it out in a 24hr pairs match for the title of Carping4Heroes 2012 winners, as well as winning pair, biggest fish and overall individual winner, all of which have been sponsored by one of our associate sponsors.
Throughout the weekend there will be a host of things going on and open to all which include a raffle, an auction, a BBQ and hogroast plus angling games hosted by Brian Skoyles and a number of stands that will be provided by Carp-Talk, DNA Baits and a carp clinic that will be manned by Brian Skoyles and ‘friends’ to offer advice and answer those rig and bait related questions you may have, there will also be a bivvy city so those of you who may want to stay the duration or enjoy a social can do so without having to worry.
The raffle, match and auction prizes are superb, with donations coming from the sports leading names, a full list of what’s on offer can be seen in our prizes section.
We will also have special guests make an appearance during the weekend and these include Julian Cundiff, Brian Skoyles, Simon Crow and Jamie Clossick, so come along and meet the pro’s, enjoy the weekend and support a great cause.
